Painful back, zip double mattress???

Hi there, my husband and I both suffer with lower back/hip pain. I'm 13stone, 5ft5 and he's 20stone 5ft9. We have a spring slatted wood double bed and currently have a "medium" mattress which gives us both back pain upon waking. Do you make a zip link mattress to fit our bed and can you recommend which one? If not, can you recommend a double mattress for us? I find a soft mattress suits me much better but I can't sleep with my husband as we end up rolling together! We're fed up with wasting money on unsuitable mattresses. Thank you for your help

I am afraid there isn't a double mattress that exists, that will give you the softer feel you are looking for, and at the same time will be supportive enough for your husband. I don't know any company that makes a double size mattress, as a zip link mattress, this is where the main problem lies.

I think the only way you will get something more in line with what you need, is to change your bed to a kingsize, where you can then buy a zip link mattress with a medium spring tension on your side, and a firm spring tension on your husbands side, giving you both a support level within the mattress more in line with your body weights.
