Replacing latex mattress can you help?

A customer asked

Hi We are looking for a new mattress for our sprung slat bed. We bought a firm latex mattress about 6 years ago (the mattress is latex only with no springs and cost us a fortune at the time), however the mattress is now too firm and we would like something softer, what would you recommend?

My husband is about 3-4 stone heavier than me so it would need to be suitable for both of us. Thank you. Shelene

Hi Shelene,

Thanks for your question.

We would need to know your specific body weights in order to definitively recommend a product but our Fusion 5 or Fusion 3 should do the trick.

Both have a 70KG Medium Density core mattress but the Fusion 3 also has the benefit of having a completely separate latex topper, giving it the softest feel overall.

Please note that we would always recommend steering clear of anything too firm feeling if you are side sleepers or have any existing aches and pains as this will simply serve to make these pains worse.

Alternatively we do have our Origins Pocket Latex 1500 but this may again feel too firm as it's the firmest mattress within our Origins range due to the construction of pocket springs and latex. As discussed we would need to know your body weights in order to discuss suitability of this model;

Bodyweight Spring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg Medium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards Firm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) Soft (1.2mm)

I hope this helps but please come back to us on 0161 437 4419 to discuss this further.

Kind Regards, Lee.
