Rest Assured Dashwood?
Really found your site informative.
Looking at rest assured beds, I notice they do a Dashwood 1200 pocket sprung, latex topped bed, basically I want to know if this bed is just another cheap quality bed.
Or whether it would be suitable for a couple with joint problems both under 10 stone each in weight.
.
Hi Deborah,
Thank you for your question.
This mattress is from Argos and in all fairness seems to be well priced. This conclusion is only based on what your bodyweights are - at under 10st you will not be putting the mattress through a lot of strain and therefore it would be wrong of me to suggest otherwise.
However, I do have a hunch that the actual latex layer will be minimal - the description states that it " ..includes a DEEP layer of Natural Latex" I would be inclined to question further as to how deep this layer is.
Being Rest Assured the latex will probably be Innergetic Latex (good product from latexco) although again the specification does not declare this as being the case.
I would be inclined to question further, but in any case £350 is cheap for a double mattress. Look at our Origins Comfort 1000 as an alternative for a similar price here. This mattress is softer in the comfort layers allowing you to sink into the mattress before reaching the support of the springs.
