Sealy Elite mattress is too soft for me
hi, i am looking for a firm mattress. i bought Sealy elite but that too sinks when i lie on it. i want an nice firm one can you suggest pls. how should a firm mattress be?
how can i know it is firm and supportive?
thanks .
Hi Aish.
Are you making the common mistake of assuming that just because your current mattress has 'gone soft' you feel that you have to opt for a firm mattress?
Quite wrong.
The spring tension should be relative to your bodyweight.
| Bodyweight | Spring tension |
|---|---|
| Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg | Medium (1.4mm) |
| 16 Stone / 101kg Upwards | Firm (1.6mm) |
| Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) | Soft (1.2mm) |
Secondly, using your Sealy Elite as an example indicates that your budget is not particularly high and you cannot reasonably expect to find anything half decent for this price (less than £300 for a KS mattress).
If you supply me with your bodyweight(s) and budget I will be able to suggest further.
Or you could have a look at the best sellers below.
Kind Regards Gary
