Hi J & R Great site with plenty of info that has now left me soooo indecisive (in a good way, I think!) and helped to explain some of the mattress catastrophes me and the missus have had in the past. We've had a Sealy Enchant 1100 double coupled with a 7cm memory foam topper for the past 8 years but now it's time to renew and expand (a little). We've got a rather limited budget of about £450 max (I know, not a lot) and would be really grateful to hear your opinion of the Slumberland Appollo Contour Deluxe 1200 (King size), maybe in comparison to one of your matts. I'm about 13.5 st at 6ft 2in and Lind is about 10.5 st at 5ft 6in, we intend to put the matt on a slatted base. I'm drawn toward your matts too as you certainly seem to know what you're talking about and are happy to let us consumers know what goes into them, I like your openness and honesty, and have my eye on your Origins Pocket Reflex 1000. I note that the site contains various references to other matt manufacturers but I haven't seen any mention of Slumberland - do you consider them to be worthy 'competitors' in the mattress production game?
