TENSION AND TUFTS

My new 4 ft mattress has proved too hard - medium to firm DreamWorks divan. Caused severe hip and thigh pain and no sleep, and then aggravated by the tufts. But never had problem with tufts before. Age 71 and have M.E. and slight lower compression of spine. Any suggestions to what I buy now from your range or any other. No reputable bed shops here and I don't have a car
