Hi
We are looking for a topper for our 6 year old 6000 pocket sprung special buy John Lewis natural collection super king size mattress.
I suffer from a bad back and tendinitis in my ankles. At night I get sore thighs and dead arm. More sleep pattern is always disturbed by pain. My husband sleeps like a log all the time.
He weighs 15 stone and I weigh 11 and a half. We have a sheep wool duvet and cotton sheets as I am menopausal .
Can you recommend a topper.

The cause of your sore thighs and dead arm may be that your current mattress is too firm for you. You are correct in assuming that the way forward if you are not looking to replace the mattress, is to apply a topper to provide a softer overall feel. The type of topper is a little more difficult to advise upon. We make latex or hybrid foam toppers but do not make naturally filled toppers. It really depends upon your preference and I would advise that you avoid any toppers containing memory foam as a constituent part.
