Topper for a pocket sprung mattress with a memory foam section.

George

I bought a pocket sprung mattress with a memory foam layer from a reputable supplier 4 years ago when I bought my new king sized bed.
Recently my wife and I noted that the top layer was showing some indentations on my side of the bed.
As the mattress can't be turned over like normal without loosing the memory foam advantages, would it be possible to overcome our problem by adding a new topper on either side.

Hi George,

Thanks for your question.

The short answer is no.

Once the bed has dipped then adding layers above the dip will just result in the new layers contouring to the dip.

We would always advocate choosing a mattress with a completely separate mattress topper as if this does fail then the topper can simply be replaced rather than the entire bed.

I'm not sure if your product is still under warranty?

This is a story we hear over and over again about memory foam.

I hope this helps but if you have any further queries please don't hesitate to contact our office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind Regards, John and Ryan.
