At your weights, I would only recommend having a soft spring tension for you and a medium for your husband. This doesn't mean the mattress will be soft medium, it just means that these spring tensions have been made with your weight ranges in mind. If you were to go to a medium firm spring unit it would simply be too firm and not react appropriately for you. With this in mind if you want a medium to firmer feel in the top comfort layer please view our Artisan 1500 mattress.
