The feel of a mattress is a very personal thing, one persons medium, could be another persons soft etc. The feel is also governed by the heights and weights of the people sleeping on the mattress. If you have a heavy and a lighter person both sleeping on the same tension spring, the heavier person will find the mattress feels softer than the lighter person.
