VS Melford Superb comparison

I would like to buy a supering zip and link to go over a slatted base. I really thought I had decided on your Artisan Bespoke ....however, yesterday I went into JL and tried lying on mattresses. The one that stood out to me was the VS Melford Supreme medium tension. After I came home and checked the Q's on here I've discovered a discrepancy ....On one post you liken it to your Bespoke and on another to.the Bespoke 004.
Could you clear this up please?
Also, although my weight of 58kg puts me in the bracket for a soft mattress I'm definitely more comfortable on a medium tension in the shop. What are your thoughts on this please?

We apologise if you are confused by previous responses provided on our site. To clarify, the Artisan Bespoke on a sprung base, which is what we pair it with, will provide a similar feel to the Melford Superb, however, if you were placing the mattress on a slatted base, covered with MDF as recommended, the Artisan Bespoke 004 will feel more like the Melford. Neither of our mattresses are a direct comparison in terms of construction, the similarity is in the overall feel.
We would suggest that you opt for the Artisan Bespoke 004 with a medium spring tension and place some MDF over your slatted base. The MDF will provide the mattress with a uniform surface upon which to sit and prevent ridging occurring as a result of the mattress dipping into the gaps between the slats.
