Thank you for your enquiry.  Usually, bases that can accommodate zip and link mattresses are platform top divan styles.  The size you would require would be a kingsize. We do not sell them as a zip and link because there are bolts in the top holding the two sides together.  If you would like to separate the two halves of the ottoman base then you would have to remove these bolts yourself.  If this is something you would like to do in the future, requesting u clips instead of joining bars will make this easier.

If you are interested in a headboard, do not add it to the Ottoman base, as I said we don't sell it as a zip and link. If you order the headboard separately you can order it as a zip and link meaning it would be a king size only when the bases are together and 2 ft 6 in when separated.
