Thanks for your question about headboards that are suitable for a zip and link mattress.

I'm guessing you mean a kingsize mattress size (as zip and links are not available in a double usually) unless you've had it custom made? You can check our mattress size guide here to double-check.

There are two options when it comes to headboards for zip and link mattresses:

1. A regular one-piece headboard
2. Two separate headboards that can join as one or be split as two.

Yes, of course, you can change to 2 separate headboards on your zip and link bed. In fact, most of our customers choose two single headboards for this purpose.

The cost for this is £400 whether its a kingsize, super kingsize or extra kingsize mattress. They come with 2 bolts for each headboard which will then fit any UK standard zip and link divan base.
