Hi, this is a bit of a loaded question. Without boring you with details, I was diagnosed 3 days ago with a severe dust-mite allergy. I haven't gotten a proper nights sleep in over a decade (I'm in my twenties if this helps) :-(
So now I know the reason, everything has to be changed, carpets to laminate, curtains to blinds etc and of course of course the bed. Now, whilst my lack of sleep is definitely not helped by allergies, I also do need a very comfy bed to help me sleep when I do get off as I imagine being uncomfortable also contributes:
1. Do you have any mattresses/frames that you'd consider dust-mite resistant? I think wooden frames are best but I can't tell which ones are when I try to select a bundle. I have been told the mattress is the biggest culprit for my allergies so whilst I can buy covers, I'd prefer a mattress already dust-mite resistant.
2. Which mattress should I go for? Have been considering hybrid mattresses that come in a box from other sites but I'm thinking a 'proper' mattress may be the way to go for me. I'm 5'5, male, 10st and due to my issues fidget and move around the bed a lot. Only position I can't sleep is on my back. Think I'm a side sleep generally but sometimes front. I don't know where to start in terms of firmness etc.
