Where we struggle is that most retailers don't disclose how they fully construct and subsequently we can't draw any comparisons or offer any advice.

 

In order to make any informed decision you need to know the breakdown of the fillings inside the mattress as well as the GSM etc.

 

We would also need to know your body weights, preferred feel in the top layers as well as sleeping habits to discuss suitability. Your body weight determines the spring tension to get the right level of support and your sleeping habits can factor in to the purchase. For example, side sleepers need to avoid anything too firm in the top layers so as to avoid pressure point pains in places such as hips, shoulders and knees. Front sleepers similarly need to avoid anything too soft in the top layers as this will only cause an unnatural arch / curvature in your back.
