Wooden Platform Divan Mattress Bases Explained

Hi,
Could you advise what materials the Origins Platform Base and the Contemporary Platform mattress Base are constructed from please? Are they both of wood construction?

Many thanks for your question asking about the platform mattress divan bases we hand make here in the UK.
Both of these bases uses softwood frames and are hand made using joint, scew and glue construction methods. They are then fully upholstered in a fabric of your choice. You can find out the exact details of each one below.

| Fixings for both glides and headboard bolts |
All of our bases and bedframes are suitable for all mattresses. With slatted bases you are advised to consider boarding over them to avoid the gaps between the mattresses damaging the bed over time.
