CAN YOU HAVE A ZIP AND LINK MATTRESS WITH ONE SIDE SOFT AND THE OTHER SIDE MEDIUM IN SUPER KING SIZE. WHAT WOULD BE THE CHEAPEST PRICE FOR THIS. THANK YOU. ROGER.

Hi Roger,

We appreciate your inquiry about our zip & link mattress options.

A zip and link bed is essentially two separate mattresses that can be zipped together to form one bed, or separated to make two individual mattresses.

A zip &  link mattress can be customized with two different levels of spring tension for personalized support, but the top upholstery layers will remain consistent across both mattresses.  If you require a zip & link mattress with one side having soft support and the other having a firmer support, this is not something that we are able to make as we only make our mattresses with either a medium support or a firm support.

The support within a mattress is provided by the internal spring unit and is based upon heights and weights whereas the comfort is provided by the upholstery fillings and is usually dictated by your sleeping positions, side back or front.  A side sleeper would require either a soft or medium level of comfort as this provides cushioning for shoulders hips and knees, a back sleeper requires something overall medium to keep their spine aligned whereas a front sleeper requires something slightly firmer so that their tummy does not sink into the mattress causing an unnatural arch in their back.

Bodyweight Spring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg Medium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards Firm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) Soft (1.2mm)

If we can provide any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact the Office on 0161 437 4419 whereupon one of our friendly Advisors will be able to assist you further.

Kind regards Julie Collier
