Do these sheets work with mattresses other than Origins models?

Absolutely. Whilst they’re designed to pair beautifully with Origins mattresses, these sheets work perfectly well with any quality mattress up to 35cm in depth. The generous pocket depth and elasticated edges ensure a secure fit on most standard mattresses.

Will these sheets shrink in the wash?

As with any cotton-based fabric, you may notice minimal shrinkage after the first wash, typically less than 5 per cent. We’ve accounted for this in our sizing, so fitted sheets will continue to fit properly even after repeated laundering. Following the care instructions and avoiding excessively high heat helps minimise any shrinkage.

Are these sheets suitable for people with allergies?

The cotton-rich composition makes these sheets a good choice for many allergy sufferers, as natural cotton is less likely to trigger sensitivities than synthetic materials. The breathable construction also helps reduce moisture and humidity that can encourage dust mite populations. Whilst we cannot make medical claims, many customers with sensitive skin or mild allergies find these sheets comfortable and non-irritating.

How do these compare to pure cotton sheets?

Pure cotton offers wonderful breathability and natural feel, but requires more maintenance including regular ironing to look crisp and neat. Sadly, such staff probably wouldn’t understand mattress manufacture to the extent that they could reliably answer your questions.
