How do mattress toppers attach?
Hello, we are considering the Hybrid 5. I have a question about the topper, which is how does it attach to the mattress below? Are there ever any problems with it shifting around?
Also, can you advise if a protector being fitted over the topper would make any difference to the benefit of the coolblue foam?

Thanks for raising such a good question.
Our toppers are completely unattached.
Wondering why? This is because of the issue often with pillowtop mattresses where they compress and settle first and then you can’t remove or replace them effectively ruining the rest of the mattress.
We keep ours ‘free range’ so you can turn and rotate them to increase the longevity of your mattress. Johns written a post in mattress detailing on that here.
We find that due to the weight of our toppers they very rarely migrate much.
However a fitted sheet usually does enough to hold them securely.
With your recommended monthly mattress maintenance this shouldn’t be a problem.
It also won’t make any discernible difference to the properties of coolblue either!
