Icon Prestige at Carpetright, any comparisons?
We are considering the purchase of an Icon Prestige Mattress from Carpet Right. We know that this is made soley for CR by Breasley, but we wish to compare against other brands out there. Can you recommend one of your mattress’s that is like for like?

We do not retail any kind of memory Foam mattress but ask you to consider our Origins Latex model as a comparison.
To compare Memory Foam mattresses is incredibly easy as the construction methods and techniques are invariably the same.
I would also nip out to your large department store and test drive the Tempur mattress range.
They utilise quite a high density (around 85k) ”memory foam‘ – I know they refer to it as a pressure relieving material but for the sake of clarity I will refer to it as memory foam.
This will give you an indication of whether you prefer the firmer feel or opt for the lower density (softer) as you have found in CR (around 55 – 60k).
If you do find the higher density is more to your liking then take a quick gander at the Ergoflex site.
They tend to replicate quite nicely a number of the Tempur mattresses.
