Firm edge support

My parents are both 90, a short while ago we bought them a new double mattress (from a local store) but it is not meeting their needs.
My Mum needs to sit on the edge of the bed before having her legs lifted onto the mattress and she keeps slipping off the edge when sitting and has ended up on the floor.
Is there any mattress we can buy that has a firm edge that would be suitable for them.With thanks.

The Origins pocket 1500 is a 1500 nested pocket spring unit, giving the mattress an overall medium support. We have also included butterfly clips to the perimeter to aid edge support. This mattress is described a s a good all round medium feel mattress.

The mattresses in The Artisan range have two rows of firmer springs around the outer edge of the mattress to provide edge support. The mattresses in the Artisan range can be paired with either a soft, medium or a firm spring tension. The correct spring tension is determined by the body weights of the individuals sleeping on the mattress.

Our Artisan Base is a true edge pocket sprung base. The height of the base without draws is 10.5", which would allow them to lower themselves onto the bed rather than hoisting themselves up onto the bed.
