This is not an easy balance to get right and knowing what the compromises are before purchase will reap rewards in the long term. The budget will of course be the main sticking point.

All models in the Artisan range can be tailored to you both with relative ease. Models below The Artisan Tailored Pocket are pretty much off the shelf and geared to suit the average person, therefore not much can be done to tailor them to specific requirements.

The Artisan Naturals is not particularly expensive in the grand scheme of things particularly when you consider the actual spring unit we use is directly comparable to many Vi-Spring models.

It also becomes apparent at how good this particular mattress is if you look at what your alternatives are (for the same price) through outlets such as Dreams or Bensons for Beds. My initial recco for you would be the Artisan Naturals [Half Soft (for you) and half Medium for hubby] you will certainly not be disappointed.
