A customer asked

Hi What a super site you've got here guys. I have a silent night ( I know!) super king size divan (sprung) & mattress. After months of waking up feeling like I've been run over by a bus, I've decided enough is enough. Hubby thinks it's great by the way. Firstly do I just replace the mattress?

Saving on base & headboard. Or do I replace the lot with a king size??

My weight tends to fluctuate between 10 & 11 stone, my Hubby being 13 plus stone. 5.4 & 5.8 tall. Please can you give me some advice, as at the moment my sun lounger is more appealing to me than my bed!

Many thanks Sandie .

Hi Sandie.

Firstly, if your base is in good condition (ie: no visible or feeling of the sprung edging being compromised) then I would invest further in the mattress and replace the base when funds allow.

Secondly, it is always best to get the biggest bed your room will allow. Should you drop from SKS to KS you will really notice the feeling of cramped space. Both your bodyweights fall into the average category and there will be no reason to fork out more than you need to to get a mattress suitable for you both.

Bodyweight Spring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg Medium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards Firm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) Soft (1.2mm)

Our pride and joy is our Artisan Naturals being well priced and exceptionally well built - equally comparable to many models on the market retailing at more than twice the price. Use this particular model as your starting point and work upwards or downwards to fit your budget.

Take a trip to a stockist of Vi-Spring products in order to put into perspective the complete difference of quality between what you currently have and what you can expect to have.

Eye opening indeed!

John and Ryan.
