Hi Tim.

If you can tell me what it is you are doing your comparisons against it would be an easy job.

However, as you have probably read throughout this site, it is in circumstances like this that absolutely demonstrates the fundamental lack of information given to you even by stores such as Bensons.

The basic spec of The Brisbane is a mattresses/" title="pillowtop">pillowtop mattress with 1400 mini pocket springs and 1400 main pocket springs.

Latex layer and Sealy Smart Fibres.

SPRINGS: 1400 mini springs on top of 1400 normal pocket springs.

The depth of the mattress is stated as 40cm (nearly 16") If we knew how deep the springs were, we would also be able to estimate the amount of upholstery used.

UPHOLSTERY: What are Sealy Smart Fibres?

I am going to assume it is a polyester blend of sorts.

The Innergetic Latex element is supplied by Latexco (same company who supplies our latex).

As this is where a good proportion of your money is going - it seems wrong that no associated depth of latex used is mentioned within the description.

As for do, we have anything that we would offer as an alternative?

Our Origins Latex 1500.

With the £600 you save you will be able to complement this further with a separate topper (pillowtop) and have a perfect mattress (Read Here).

Hope this helps.

John and Ryan.
