Can you advise on i-gel mattress from Bensons for Beds?

Hi, I have been looking into buying a new mattress for a while now. I was looking into buying the Savoy from Bensons for Beds, but it is not available anymore. I don't want to spend more than £1500. I am now looking at a super king size, and my options are the following: Decadence and Brisbane from Bensons. I still am not sure what a memory foam or a gel mattress would do for me... So I am more inclined towards the pocket sprung. Any suggestions or thoughts?!

Hi Orinda.
Your choices seem to be based on pillowtop models, a build that we are not particularly keen on. Due to the negative effects of the pillow top settling.
A budget of around £1500 is not a small amount and with this in mind I would ask you to spend a half day or so trying high-end mattresses within stores like John Lewis or Furniture Village in order for you to see and feel the difference between what can be considered a well-constructed mattress and the tat you have tried at Bensons.
Once you realise what can be considered a well-made mattress you will be in a better position to narrow down your choices based on your requirements.
As an example, I would say our Artisan Bespoke 004 would put all the models you mention above well and truly in the shade.
