Hi Martin,

Thank you for your question.

I have viewed the published specifications for each of the mattresses mentioned, which are very generalised and do not provide specific GSM (grams per square metre) details of the fillings, making comparisons virtually impossible.

If you are able to increase your budget, we may have a mattress to suit your requirements.

The Origins Pocket Reflex 1000 is the firmer of our starter range. This pocket-sprung hand made mattress gives a medium support with firmer top layers; the excellent ‘all rounder’. It will cost £575.00 for a king size model.

Origins Reflex
1 750gsm Very soft Polyester
2 One inch reflex foam layer
3 270gsm Polyester
4 One inch reflex foam layer
5 1000 Spun Bond Pocket Springs

If you are unable to increase your budget it is worth having a look at our online Outlet. We resell products that have been returned to us under the John Ryan 60 day love it or return it guarantee in the Outlet department. Once the products are returned to us they are inspected and graded accordingly using the grading system shown in the table below.

Grade Discount Description
B 20% Will have been used by a customer and returned under the 60 night love it or return it guarantee, it may have a few marks from transit and courier handling.
C 40% Will have been used by a customer and returned under the 60 night love it or return it guarantee, it will have quite a few marks and could even have a small tear, nothing detrimental to the life or use of the mattress.

For further information please contact the office on 0161 437 4419 to speak to one of our friendly advisors.

Kind regards,
Amy.
