Hello, We came across your website and have perused with much interest having had a run on mattresses which have all turned out to give one or both of us various aches and pains.

We' re desperate to find a mattress we can use on our kingsize wooden slatted bedstead where we can both get a good nights sleep.

If it helps we have tried: - Vi-spring pocket sprung medium tension for 10yrs (my husband liked this, I found it too hard and suffered hip ache over time) - A Dreams bamboo latex mattress (I found this lovely and comfortable but my husband suffered hip & back pain) - Tempur Original mattress (we both found this uncomfortable although neither of us suffered hip or back ache) - Dreams Zen rejuvinate pocket sprung (medium tension) with latex topper (neither of us find it very comfortable but my husband particularly suffers lower back and hip ache which disappears once he gets up).

I am a side-sleeper weighing 63kg and 5ft6 while my husband tends to sleep on his front and weighs 86kg and is 6ft tall.

Please could you recommend a suitable mattress - we were wondering if zip and link might be a sensible option but we're open to your advice.

Be nice to keep it less than £1800.
