holiday home mattress advice

Hi I was hoping for some guidance after a Sunday trawling round furniture shops and hours on line... We are about to invest in a holiday home which would accommodate 7 - two doubles, one single and one twin (which we'd want to have as a zip and link for flexibility). The house is in the New Forest and we want it to be cosy and comfortable but not extravagant (4 star comfort not five star snobbery...). The question is over what mattresses to get that deliver comfort, but recognise wear tear and spoil could result in replacements being required more often than we'd want?
So its a compromise over cost, comfort and durability. My view currently is to go for something like your Artisan pocket 2000 (firm) which between 800 and £900 for kingsize seems to meet requirements. Could you comment on longevity and whether in a holiday let environment you could add any opinion on what to go for or avoid?
Also, do you have any location where your mattresses could be tried?
