Recommendation for a £400 mattress

Was looking for your recommendation on a new mattress.
We have a solid oak frame with a sprung slatted base.
My budgets is between £400 - £450.
When ever we stop at a travel lodge I have the best nights sleep, I know I can purchase one of their mattresses online but are there any other alternatives ?
Weight wise we are heavy with my partner weighing 18 stone and myself at 13 stone. I prefer a firmer mattress as I would like the support for my back which I have problems with.
Our current mattress is 10 years old so definitely needs replacing.

Sleepeezee manufactures the Travel Lodge Dreamer mattress. Unfortunately, and sadly in keeping with most manufacturers, the information they provide about what’s inside this mattress is minimal. It states 950 pocket springs and some hypoallergenic fillings. That’s it. There is no detail on the spring gauge used, GSM or layer specifications. Making it impossible to accurately compare to.
One piece of advice I would give is that often hotels and guest houses use a softer mattress or topper for customers. This gives that ‘sleeping like a cloud’ feeling. Which is great for a night or two but after a while a mattress that is too soft and offers too much sink can create discomfort.
If we were to provide advice based on your weights and firmness preference we would ask you to look at our Origins Reflex Mattress if you prefer a firmer feel in the top comfort layers.
