A customer asked

Looking for a 4 ft 6 double to replace our old Slumberland Atlanta 2400
The sprung divan base is still sound and will be used again
Budget for the mattress is under £1k
Body weights are 17 stone and 12
Firm side of medium is the choice
What do you recommend?

Hi Frank,

Thanks for your question.

At your body weights you would be matched with a split tension of Medium and Firm to get the right level of support;

Bodyweight Spring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg Medium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards Firm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) Soft (1.2mm)

Given your preference for a Firm side of Medium feel I would advise you have a look at our Artisan 1500 and Artisan Tailored Pocket 2000. Both have that medium upholstery but are the firmer side of medium.

Both are constructed with natural fillings, which not only tend to last longer as standard but also provide a cool sleep surface.

I hope this has answered your questions fully but if you do have any further queries please don't hesitate to contact our office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind Regards, Lee.
