Vi-spring not offering us enough support

Hi, we have bought a king size pocket sprung (medium tension) Vispring mattress but my husband who is 6ft5" (slim build) and is complaining that it does not offer him enough support and he is waking up each morning with back ache. I am 5ft5" and 9 stone, I find the bed fine for me although I often find firmer mattress tension more comfortable? We have tried firm and medium tension in shops but at the time couldn't really tell the difference. Your advice would be very welcome...

Although you have provided some details regarding your husband, the most crucial element, his body weight, is not advised. Certainly, for someone of your body weight, I would not recommend anything other than a medium tension mattress.

It is difficult, in a ten to the fifteen-minute session to judge what a mattress will feel like after a few hours of sleeping on it, likewise, the feel will be altered by whatever base it is to be placed on and this needs to be borne in mind when deciding on your final purchase.
