Mattress weight

Currently have Humilis 2046 spring Cloud Nine super king mattress on slats. Have had this for ten years. However the weight of the mattress is too heavy for us to manage as we get older and more specifically with my back problems. Even simply changing the sheets is a problem never mind turning. We are looking for a replacement mattress with good support but which is lighter to manage. Ca you give me any advice please?

The best solution here would be to opt for a Zip and Link mattress.
This will give you 2 mattresses rather than the complete one piece unit that can be zipped together.
