A customer asked

Hi, I am buying a mattress for my 3 year old but getting baffled by all the conflicting advice, can you help?! I am considering a pocket sprung mattress, either with latex and foam (one sided) or with polyester mixed with wool/cashmere/silk (two sided). Which would be better? Kind regards, Rachel

Hi there,

Mattresses for children are more of a speciality product, particularly when they are as young as your's. There are a number of High Street retailers that stock such products and they are of good standard. You only really need to be looking at a pocket sprung mattress for support when your child is older.

From our ranges I would recommend the Origins Comfort 1000. The comfort 1000 is the softest in our Origins Range combines pocket-springs and deep man made fillings to provide excellent comfort and value for money. Costing £430.00 for a single mattress.

1 750gsm Very Soft Polyester
2 500gsm Polyester Pad
3 One Inch Foam Insulator Layer
4 1000 Spun Bond Pocket Springs

I hope this information is useful, if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact the office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind regards,

Amy.
