This is probably a strange question these days but if 8-way hand tied springs are high-end in a sprung base, how would a 4-5" core of 8-way hand tied springs function instead of calico wrapped pocket springs? I'm using horse hair and wool over my core, as a flippable mattress.
I live in the States, even mattress information is absurdly difficult to find much less decent (reasonably priced) and this is affordable and doable for me. It's fairly sad when one MUST look outside of your country just for information so I very much appreciate your site and I've read many of the posts. The problem here is finding quality pocket springs at all which are larger than 4".
