Pocket sprung mattress

With a good pocket spring unit, in a well-upholstered mattress, you shouldn't hear any noise when you turn over in bed. Have you checked that it isn't the divan base that is creaking, you don't mention in your comment if the mattress and base are both new, or have you had them a while, as joints in divan bases can loosen over time and sometimes creak as they get older.
