Mattress for an Ottoman storage base

Hello, we are looking at your super-king size ottoman storage beds and would like to purchase a mattress to go with it, but aren't sure which one would be best for us. Could you make a recommendation please? We currently have a king size Sleepeezee Viscount pocket-sprung mattress, on a slatted base, which we bought 15 years ago, and has worked well for us until the last few years when it has clearly been worn out. My husband is 80kg, 5’11”, I am 70kg and 5'9". Thank you!

Thanks for getting in touch, we know how confusing and overwhelming mattress choices can be.
Unfortunately, as happens with 99% of mattress retailers, the Sleepeezee viscount has no discernable information about it. No GSM, no spring gauge or any other comparable information other than its a medium feel 30cm deep mattress.
At your weights if you're both looking for a medium feel mattress then we would recommend looking firstly at the Origins 1500 mattress. This will give a medium feel for you both and is a two sided mattress. If you want a natural fibre mattress the next model would be the Artisan Natural mattress in a medium spring tension. The naturals contains vanadium coated calico pocket springs, the highest grade possible, making this a truely exceptional model. Both of these models are suitable for our Ottoman divan bed base.
