Mixed mattress taste
Both myself and partner are not greatly different in size and weight. We do however have a very different taste in the type of mattress we're looking for. My partner prefers a soft mattress while i prefer a much firmer mattress.
Were looking for an option that suits us both - looking through the site i think our only option is to look at the zip and link options.
This could work - our only concern is there would be a noticeable break in the middle of the bed - any advice on this would be very welcome, also please let us now if there are any other options we could consider?
Were based in west London - where might we be able to experience one of these mattress's?
Thank you on advance
Hi Joseph
Thanks for your question.
Firstly we are internet based only, and none of our products are sold in any other retailers stores.
Zip and link mattresses are definitely the way to go, or if only one tension different i.e soft/med or med/firm is required, then we can make a one piece mattress with a split tension.
Split tension mattresses are available in the Artisan range, and the spring is normally determined by the body weight of the person sleeping on the mattress. A medium spring is usually for weights of 10 st up to 17 st, and a firm tension is for weights of 17 st upwards.
With a zip link mattress, usually by the time you have your mattress protector, or mattress topper on, and your fitted sheet over that, most people never notice the zipped area.
