Bensons for beds Savoy mattress questions

Hi There Fantastic site and well done for putting out honest and direct feedback. Hubby and I are looking to buy a zip and link super king matters, and have tried the Savoy super king with fixed pillow topper (1 firm and 1 medium) from Benson beds, (1399.99) with 2200 pockets the limited choice to try alternatives has lead us to this as the best solution. I want to put this on an ottoman bed.... probably the Serene lucca ottoman bed. Hubby is sold of the storage of the ottoman bed and lack of dust bunnies that can hide under a normal bed with storage underneath. Firstly, do you have a product to match the matteress above, happy to have a separate topper as I have concerns about the gap the topper creates on the Savoy, between the two singles (big design flaw) but to be honest it was by far the comfiest that we could try. Secondly the ottoman has slates is this an issue?
Thirdly I have been working on the assumption that all SK mattress fit all SK beds is this right?

As you may have read on our website we never advocate that any one buys a pillow top mattress for the reasons stated in the article highlighted.
It is a much better option to buy a fully turnable mattress so you have 2 entire sleep surfaces which will last you much longer, and add a separate mattress topper.
A standard Uk super kingsize mattress will fit any standard UK super kingsize base.
Zip link mattresses are a great way to create different spring tensions for each sleeper, and cut down on any movement within the mattress, their biggest plus is that most people can get larger size mattresses into their properties where they couldn't get a one piece mattress in.
Before i could make a more informed recommendation, i would need to know your heights, weights, budget, preferred feel from your mattress, and sleep positions.
As a bench mark you could look at the Origins Pocket 1500 mattress, and the Artisan Naturals. These are our most popular models in each range and have a medium feel top upholstery, i.e not too soft or too firm.
