Ideally we would need to know which mattress you have purchased from ourselves in order to recommend the right type of base for you. However, if you have an Origins mattress, these have been made to go onto a solid top divan base so you would need to order an Origins Platform Base.  This will then not change the feel of the mattress at all.

If you have an Artisan mattress, then these types of mattresses have been made to go onto a sprung divan base.  The mattresses can however go onto any type of base however, if you choose a solid top base, then this will firm the mattress up.
