King Koil Mattress is far too hot

Bought a King Koil Mattress in 2016 worse decision we ever made we can't sleep on it gets far to hot sweating every time you sleep on it. Never was told how hot it gets we are pensioners can't afford to buy another mattress, should take it out to the back yard and burn it but won't

Thank you for your enquiry. I am sorry to hear that you are having this issue. Without knowing which model from King Koil you have I am unable to say what is the cause.
There are some things that I can suggest (other than replace your mattress) that may help solve this issue. A natural fibre mattress topper would separate you and the upholstery layers of the mattress as well as softening the overall feel. Natural fibres are more breathable giving a cooler sleep surface. Using a 100% cotton sheet on your bed will give a cooler sleep surface. You could also try a lower tog duvet so that you do not get too hot.

Same problem…I bought a KK Grand Opulence and it’s so hot. It’s very uncomfortable and I would never ever recommend a KK…the Company uses 85% Polyester on top …so I imagine this results in such a hot uncomfortable mattress. I contacted Kaymed but got little satisfaction

Thank you for your comment. Some people do find man made fibres to be too hot. Natural fibres are much more breathable and help to regulate your body temperature.
Adding a natural fibre mattress topper such as wool or cotton to a man made fibre mattress can help if you are overheating on your mattress.
