Thanks for your question about the Vispring Elite mattress. Ideally we would need to know your height, bodyweight, sleeping position and other requirements to fully advise. However, we can do a comparison to show you whats similar based on the pride point and what's inside the mattresses.

The Vi Spring Elite is a mattress is their entry level model and is incredibly soft given the upholstery. The overall construction of this particular mattress is predominantly wool based. Making it soft and comforting but with little in the way of anything that can be deemed to be supportive.

The official description of The Vi-Spring Elite is as follows:

• Upholstered with 1,350gsm bonded British fleece wool and cotton.
• Overlaid with two layers of 900gsm blended British fleece wool and cotton.
• 1254 luxury pocket springs in 5’0 (150cm), 1.52mm Vanadium steel springs, 56mm in diameter, sewn in individual calico pockets and hand-formed into a honeycomb-nested unit.

This gives you a total upholstery GSM of 3150 GSM. Quite a substantial overall amount and for a typical retail price of around £1315 (Furniture Village: 2020, Kingsize mattress) is not overly expensive given the Vispring range can go up to £50,000!
