Hi! We're looking at the possibility of buying 2 king-size mattresses and a zip and link mattress and base from you and wondered which mattresses you would recommend for use in a B&B. We don't want to break the bank, but bought one from your outlet a year ago and our guests regularly rave about how comfortable it is!

Hi Jayne,

Thank you for your question.

The mattress that we usually recommend to B&Bs & guesthouses is the Origins Pocket Reflex 1000, which is suitable for a wide range of body weights and we have had a number of people purchasing this product after staying at accommodation where this mattress is used.

Origins Reflex
1 750gsm Very soft Polyester
2 One inch reflex foam layer
3 270gsm Polyester
4 One inch reflex foam layer
5 1000 Spun Bond Pocket Springs

I note that you purchased a mattress from our Outlet last year and have established that the product purchased was the Origins Pocket 1500. This too is suitable for use in your accommodation, but would point out that of the two, the Reflex is the less expensive and is probably best suited for the use required.

John Ryan By Design Origins 1500
1 300gsm Wool
2 750gsm Very Soft Polyester
3 500gsm Polyester Pad
4 One Inch Foam Insulator Layer
5 1500 Spun Bond Pocket Springs

I trust that this helps, but if you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to call our office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind regards Julie
