Mike I weigh 10st 3lbs.. The Bico bed has two separate slatted bases which each have slider tensioners in the central section of the base allowing the base to be made firmer or softer as you wish. These are set within a bed frame. Therefore both my mattress and my husband's mattress are a 3ft x 22cm deep mattress - his mattress being firmer than mine..

I assume that because you have only provided your body weight that you are only looking to replace one of the two mattresses. The Fusion 5 is likely to be more suitable to you, although it would require the modification of your base in the fashion described earlier with regard to protecting the mattress.
