Thank you for your enquiry. All components of our mattresses are treated for fire retardancy before the mattresses are made. All our mattresses have been tested and approved as compliant under BS 5852: 1982 Part II and BS7177 and are suitable for domestic use.  If you are still unsure I would suggest that you enquire of the regulatory body in Ireland to see if they can assist.
