Vi-Spring 'Tavistock' pocket sprung mattress on a platform base.

We are finding the vi - Spring pocket sprung mattress is too firm on the unsprung base and we have discovered that it really should not be on a firm platform base, as this is what is making it feel too firm. Are there any bases available which we could use with our vi-Spring pocket sprung bedstead mattress, as it is in excellent condition and we would prefer to change the base rather than the mattress. Some of our Artisan range are comparable, in feel only, to some of the models made by Vi-Spring and we pair our Artisan range with a firm edge sprung base. Please view the Artisan range on our site where full details of the bases are available.
Your sleeping habits/personal preference will then determine how you would like the mattress to feel in the comfort layers. This is where you will achieve the feel you are looking for (soft/medium/firm). Do you know if you have a preference for a soft, medium or firm?
