King zip split bed sheets and mattress protectors

Hi, I have purchased a king zip split bed. Is it ok for the mattresses to be left unzipped but still together on the base as we have separate sheets and mattress protectors.

Hi Kelly,
It is perfectly ok to leave zip and link mattresses unzipped as they are unlikely to move when in place on the base. The main reasons for purchasing zip and links are for access and where there may be a requirement to split the beds for different users such as in B&Bs or guesthouses.
