Any way of checking what materials/process is used?

Hello John & Ryan,
I just bought a 2" topper for a single bed. The seller described it as "100% natural latex topper....pure and 100% made from talalay latex and 100% natural." Comfort is medium and the ILD is about 25.
It does feel like latex to me (because it is springy) but is there any way of checking the description further.
The colour is beige. The core weighs just over 5kg. There is no strong smell in terms of chemicals. There seems to be no join lines where talalay slabs would be stuck together (or can a single be made in one slab?).
Many thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,

I am not able to provide a comment as to the construction of the product you have bought as you have not advised the name of the product or the retailer who sold it to you.

Even with this information, it is impossible to advise how it may or may not be constructed.

Having said that, if it is only 2 inches thick, it is unlikely to be made up of layers of talalay latex and is more likely to be in one single piece (slab).

For further clarification, you could ask the retailer to provide evidence of the construction and a guarantee as to it's content.

Kind Regards Gary
