Double mattress for 14 year old daughter

With your daughter's current body weight I would suggest that you look at the Origins Comfort 1000 mattress, which is the softest in our Origins range. Having said that, I would advise that as it is double sided, you should place some form of barrier between the mattress and the slatted base, usually in the form of thin (3-5mm) MDF.

This will provide a uniform surface for the mattress to sit on and prevent it ridging as a result of it dipping into the gaps between the slats. Applying the MDF will make the mattress feel slightly firmer, but should still be suitable for your daughter.
