We are in our 70s and are finding turning a five foot mattress is getting too much for us. We are thinking of buying a zip and link mattress. The bed is a proper sprung mattress bed purchased from Nathans of Canterbury and so no need for a new frame we just require two singles that zip together. Can you advise.

Hi Monica,

Thank you for your question.

We do make zip and link mattresses from king size and above in both the Origins (synthetic upholstery) and Artisan (natural upholstery) ranges.

In order for us to advise as to your best option, we would need to know your body weights, preferred feel and budget.  We need to know your body weights in order to recommend the correct spring tension as it is the springs which give you the support.  The top upholstery layers are what give you the comfort.

Bodyweight Spring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg Medium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards Firm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) Soft (1.2mm)

Artisan Naturals

Please call our office on 0161 437 4419 with this information and we will provide specific advice as to suitability.

Kind regards Julie
