best mattress for dual weights?

Hello there,
We are looking to buy a mattress but my husband is just over the 20st weight and I'm just over 8st. We are looking for a double mattress and our budget is around £1,000.

Hi Mel,
Thank you for your question.
We can make a split tension mattress, soft tension for you and firm for your husband in our Artisan range in a king size zip & link mattress and above only.
However if you prefer a slightly firmer spring tension, then we can make a dual tension one piece mattress with one side medium spring and one side firm spring, in a kingsize mattress and above.
The springs in a mattress are what give you the support and we would then need to know how you like a mattress to feel from the comfort layers which are the upholstery fillings on top of the springs.
